FOOT STRENGTHENING

Foot Strengthening Class will help Company dancers strengthen vital areas of dance such as high relevés, feet with a sharp pointe, strong jumps, increased balance, overall strength and conditioning, and full articulation and control of the feet. To join the Foot Strengthening Class, the dancer has to have been enrolled in Ballet and a Company Class for at least one year. 

For those with the goal of dancing en pointe, this class is the first step in that process. Foot Strengthening Class will help create a strong, safe base for the stresses that will be put on those areas of the body. Please read thoroughly our process for training dancers for pointe work and speak to an instructor if your dancer is interested.
