Information on this page is for the dance season beginning September 2024.
Company tuition is due for the entire year regardless of month of enrollment or absences.
Tuition can be broken down into monthly installments. If choosing to pay in installments, each payment is due by the 7th of every month before late fees accrue. See information on late fees below.
Tuition can be paid by cash, check, Venmo, PayPal or credit card. If you’d like to set up automatic payments, please contact us by August 31. You can also turn in post-dated checks for the entire season that will be deposited on the first of each month. There is a discount when paying by cash or check.
There is no tuition payment due in December; however the show fee is due at that time.
Tuition above reflects REJOICE’S Company class, Ballet class and Acro-dance class. REJOICE dancers continue their training through the months of May-August. Summer tuition is to be determined and is not reflected in the price above. Note that performances are not optional for the REJOICE group.
First enrolled dancer in the family pays full price. Each additional sibling is discounted $5 off each installment payment.
Additional Studio classes are available at a discounted price for currently enrolled Company dancers.
Studio classes that are added on to a Company class are $25/each per month.
NOTE: May-August, when GCDC Company Classes are not offered, regular rates apply.
GCDC grows through your referrals! As a thank you, you will receive a $10 studio cash card for each new family referral that finishes the dance season. The new family must list you, on their registration form, as the one that referred them.
The studio cash card can be used on any GCDC expenses from snacks and water bottles to tuition and fees. The card expires the following September after being issued and will not be replaced if lost. Studio cash cards can not be redeemed for cash.
These fees apply to both Pre-Company and Company unless otherwise noted.
The average dancer, purchasing a new uniform and participating in the Christmas Party and Spring Production, will spend $250+ on expenses and required fees. The breakdown is below.
All dancers, new and returning, pay an annual registration fee. This fee includes the annual company t-shirt. If taking additional studio classes, no other registration fees are due. This fee is non-refundable and due at the time of registration. Your daughter’s spot in a class is not reserved until the fee is paid. A $10 late fee is charged for registrations received after August 31st.
You are required to purchase a uniform for class. Some of the uniform pieces can be used year to year providing it is still on the required list and fits properly. No one is permitted to take a class without a uniform and dance shoes. If you have forgotten to bring your child’s uniform or shoes to class, we have a few that are able to be rented for $5/week. Hair is to be secured in a ponytail or bun with no flyaways. A bun is required for girls in the REJOICE class.
A Christmas party is held for Company and Pre-Company dancers with games and activities to enjoy. There is a $15 fee and dancers bring a treat to share.
If you are able to participate in the GCDC Spring Production by attending all mandatory rehearsals and keeping your account up-to-date, there is a $100-$150 show fee. This fee covers costumes (new, altered, or embellished), tights if needed, accessories, props, backstage help, rent and other performance needs. All costumes and accessories are property of GCDC. Payment is due the first class in December and is non-refundable.
For Pre-Company dancers and any Company dancer participating in any additional studio classes (Ballet, Acro, Contemporary or Recreational), there is a May Showcase where they will perform a routine from their class. There is a $25 showcase fee to participate and this includes 4 free tickets. Additional tickets are $5 each. If your dancer is participating in two showcases, the fee and amount of free tickets is the same. This year’s showcase will take place at a small rented venue with a stage (TBD).
You can avoid this late fee by registering for classes and paying your registration fee by August 31.
Tuition is due by the 7th of every month. There is a fee assessed to late tuition:
Paid on day 8-14: $5 late fee
Paid on day 15-21: $10 late fee
Paid on day 22 and beyond: $15 late fee
If you need to delay payment for any reason, please discuss this with us ahead of time.
Tuition can be paid onsite by cash or check. You can also mail your payment by the 7th of each month. Paying online or with a credit card incurs a $5 fee for each tuition payment.
